Morristown rummage sale

Hundreds came out to the Women’s Club of Morristown’s annual Rummage Sale Friday, which continues Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dr. Lewis Condict House at 51 South Street. The proceeds of the sale this year will go towards the restoration of the home, which was built in 1797. (Video by Paula Saha/The Star-Ledger)

Lou De Lauro is a number of things. He’s a teacher, a father, a mentor, and a juggler. He’s also the director of Juggling Life, a volunteer juggling program he runs out of Dunellen. The program works to enhance the lives of others by teaching them to juggle. (Video by Adya Beasley/The Star-Ledger)

Project Runway, a fashion design competition tv show is in its fifth season on Bravo. It’s inspired young girls and boys to learn the art of sewing. At Fabricland in North Plainfield, the young sewing students are so crazy about the show, the store began hosting its own Project Fabricland. We stopped by for an advanced class. Professional drivers learn survival tactics

Jerry Lucas is an assistant instructor with Tony Scotti’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute. In that role, he plays a “bad guy” who shoots paint balls at the professional drivers as they learn how to survive an attack. Drivers and bodyguards for some of area’s (and the world’s) richest and most powerful men and women get their training at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. That’s where Jersey-based Tony Scotti’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute puts them through their paces on evasive driving, defensive driving, reversing, and braking.
