Golf Supports Our Troops fundraiser

Some 80 golfers, pluse several disabled veterans who are recovering at the Walter Reade Army Medical Center in Washington D.C., were at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus on Monday for a tournament benefitting Golf Supports Our Troops, a Madison based non-profit that has been buying golf equipment and training systems for V.A. hospitals all around the country. Many of the hospitals have been using the sport as part of rehabilitation for returning troops who were injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. (Video by Paula Saha/The Star-Ledger)

Ironmen dance team auditions

The New Jersey Ironmen Dance Team held auditions for their 2008-09 squad Monday evening at Prudential Center. The 12 selected from the tryouts will perform at every Ironmen home game as well as representing the dance team at numerous promotional appearances throughout the season. Bringing Back the NJ Naval Militia
